It's been a rough year for my family. IT was supposed to be a happy time when it all began, but we have been cast into misery and are flailing. I got married in May and the following day my Great Aunt passed away. A week later a friend of the family. and on the 15th of June my Mother. My great Aunt owned the house that me and my children had been living in for 4 years and after she passed my so-called family basically pushed us out. My husband had a small one bedroom apartment in New Jersey so we put what we could in storage and came here at the end of July.
When we got here we had trouble registering the kids for school because of the residency issues ( we have essentially 4 ppl in a 1 bedroom apartment, so the landlord would not give us the paper we needed until we moved) It took some time to save a whole new deposit and first months rent and the children ended up starting school 1.5 months later than the other students and we were broke and all of our bills lapsing, living on about 30$/week for grocery.
I applied for food assistance and now we get some help with that.
The costs for my mothers expenses is out of control and no one else is helping pay that. I look for work every day but haven't had much luck. My husband has a decent job and works everyday but we are still struggling.
I need to be able to get back to ohio to get our winter clothing and the rest of our things AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Even our christmas tree is there.
We have no livingroom furniture. No Curtains and one blanket & towel each.
My sons are 5 & 7 and love superheros, computers, video games, toy cars, legos, play-doh and anything to do with arts and crafts.
I am new to the area so I don't know places to sign up for help although I have tried looking on the internet. I do not have a phone.
If you can help or point me in the right direction to get help let me know please.
I really want my children to have a normal Christmas. After all the loss they have experienced... I can't bear to break their hearts.

9 year old girl 12 pants and 10/12 shirts 5-6 shoes (likes art supplies, games, silly bands, make-up anything really)


11 yr old girl 10/12 pants and shirts 6-7 shoes (likes art supplies,  games, music, silly bands, jewelry, make-up anything)


14 yr old boy 14/16 pants and shirts 7 shoes (likes  games, music, hardy boys books, art supplies, Axe spray, jewelry anything for a 14 yr old boy)

We could also use food, toiletries, and household supplies. Anything is and will be greatly appreciated. New or used items is greatly appreciated.

I am in forclosure. I don't have any money for Christmas presents or dinner. Every dime I get goes to the mortgage company and electric company. We have had so many problems with marriage, illness, bills....I can't fathom what else could go wrong. I would be most grateful for anything anyone could offer my children. My oldest is 14 and loves sports and music. my youngest is 12, however he is special needs. he had a stroke and is very small for his age. He loves high school musical and fishing. He was also dx with velo cardio facial syndrome. I don't care whether I get a thing, I just don't want them heartbroke. My name is Heather, I am a mother of two wonderful boys. One is two years old, and the other is two months old.  While trying to carry them both to the car I fell and broke my foot.  So I have not yet been able to return to work after taking the mandatory 6 weeks off after having the baby.  I am about to be able to go back, but most of my utilities are also about to be turned off. I need help paying my electric, gas, water, phone bill, and one months rent.  After one month, I will be back at work, and able to support the kids and myself.  I just don't want us to lose our house in the mean time. I live in Connecticut and have 3 boys. My youngest just turned 1 and was born with Down syndrome.  We have insurance (not the greatest) .We have had to undergo many more medical attention due to our Son having a disibility and all the co-pays are keeping us very behind.  We are getting letters now of being sued.

I have contacted our local agency's but there seems to be no help out there at all for a family that works and tries to do the right thing.

Any help would be appreciated.

This year my son is fortunate enough to be playing with the same coaching staff for a third consecutive season.  Coach has proven himself to be a person I am very comfortable putting my son in the care of.  He is more than just a coach, He is a father with a son on the team, so he understands the age group he is coaching, and he also expresses concern for the growth and well-being of the kids and not just winning. They understand education comes first and all team players must maintain a 2.5 in order to be part of the team.
This season our team really needs help.  We have 4 very big out of town tournaments that we are invited to attend.  We hope to be going to Las Vegas, Reno, Houston and Virginia (if we make it to Nationals).  As you can imagine, the expense for these trips will be costly, in combination with tournament fees, uniforms and shoes, food especially lodging, and transportation.  As parents, we are attempting fundraisers car washes and working "bingo" nights to try and raise money, we are in no way lazy parents.  However, as you might imagine air fare, renting a bus and paying for hotels or rental homes and gas, etc. is a huge task to take on and we need donations to help us make these trips possible and successful for these children. 
Your donation will go directly to the children on our team. We can make sure each child is able to have transportation to get to the tournament, have food and lodging while at the tournament and pay tournament fees.  Your donation is TAX DEDUCTIBLE and would mean so much to our families and the children who work so hard at keeping up their grades and good character, so they are able to play on this team.  Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated, however, if you have access to any buses or large vans (or even rental car organizations that would donate a couple of large team vans during a tournament), rental homes, hotels, or restaurants in any of these areas, these would also be of GREAT assistance to our team

We are a family of 5....there is me...my husband...and our three boys....5-5-and 2.  Yes we have twins....and to top it off their birthday is on christmas...which makes it even harder this year.  We had a house fire in Aug.  and are just starting to get some things back on track.  So far...we have had to relocate...refurnish our belongings (which isn't cheap these days) and get the things that our family needs.  Christmas has kinda snuck up on us this year and we have 1 present for each child.  I am not worried about me and my husband cause just to have our family safe is enough.  But with it being the twins bday and christmas we want to make it okay.  Just looking for  a little help.  Is there anyone that knows of anywhere to go or anything to do to get some help.  Even decenct handme down toys that are in decent shape would be great because they are still little enough that they don't understand if it is brand new or not.  PLEASE HELP.  (cnslambert7@yahoo.com)  THank you for your time and thoughts.  Have a SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY!
